PAMA Taiwan Headquarter

SAMA was founded in 2018 by Mr. David Liao. Abacus and Mental Arithmetic education was a prominent part of Taiwanese education. In recent years, abacus and mental arithmetic have become a great option for early childhood education. SAMA Taiwan's goal is to share the benefits of mental arithmetic to more teachers and students around the world.

Mr. David Liao was a six-time national champion in Abacus and Mental Arithmetic competition in Taiwan. He has taught more than 10,000 students in his career. In the last 20 years, he dedicated himself to provide training for teachers around the world. He has provided training to teachers in more than 25 countries and that number is growing every year.

PROFILES

Mr. David Liao started his first abacus school in nothern Taipei in 1983. Years later, the institution has taught more than 15,000 students . The school has also since added other subjects, including English, Chinese, Mathmetic, Computer and Writing courses for students.

Hosted international cups competition for years. Hosted celebrity cup competition for years. Hosted Competition of Taipei abacus and mental arithmetic institution for years. To participate teaching seminars of straight cross abacus and mental in Hong Chou, China. Invited to perfrom abacus performance and teaching seminars in Malaysia, Canada and Hong Kong.

AWARDING RECORDS

Continuously awarded champions of group and individual for the 26th, 27th, 28th, 29th and 30th students abacus competition held by Taipei Education Bureau. Students, Kou-Chu, Wang; Cha-Hou, Wu; and Wang-Chin, Lin are chosen to be top 10 Taiwan national contestants. Champion of Group B, C, and D and champion of champions of Group E for PAMA Global 8th competition in 2006. Champion of Group C and D for 2007 the 9th PAMA Global competition. Champion of champions of Group A & E for 2012 the 13th PAMA Global competition.Champion of champions of Group B, D, E for 2013 the 14th PAMA Global competition.
